Perceptions Contemporary Dance Company
was founded in 2007 by Melissa Gendreau. The main goal of
the company is to create art that contributes to the community in meaningful way through service and
performance. The company performs for various benefit concerts to help not-for-profit companies like M.E.D.A.
(Multi-Service Eating Disorder Association) and Community Systems Inc, and contributes donations and
proceeds to many charities and causes.
